All this past few weeks me and my friend were planing to start our youtube channel so we were working towards this and we already made some videos. There is no channel yet but I want you to be the first ones to see our work and to judge is it worth to take place in already crowded youtube world.

Hair care routine

Hey guys!!!
I am stepping to the new week with my hair care routine!!! Plus  Avon  Moroccan  Argan oil review! So let’s start without further ado.

To begin with, I jump out of my bead and head straight to the shower. I like the hottest water temperature as possible and I wash my hair with Garnier Ultra Doux Vitality shampoo.  Then I bring out my big guns Avon Moroccan Argan oil. I pump a little bit of oil on my palm, rub it between my hands to distribute it a little bit and apply it on my hair. 

This oil is one of my favorite hair care products ever. It smells amazing and makes my hair soft, silky and shiny. It seems like Argan oil found its’ place in every beauty blogger’s heart. Why is it so special?

Argan oil contains tocopherols (vitamin E), phenols, carotenes, squalene, and fatty acids, (80% unsaturated fatty acids). The main natural phenols in argan oil are caffeic acid, oleuropeinand vanillic acid.  These are fancy words but all of those contents are wonderful for fixing damaged hair or skin. This is a wonderful video that will explain everything you need to know about this oil better than I ever would. 

If you watched the video you probably already understood that Avon Argan oil is not the top notch product because it is not very expensive nor packed in a dark not translucent bottle but it really makes me satisfied with its’ effect so why not?

Finally, coming back to my hear care routine after applying Argan oil I brush my hair and then blow dry them while still brushing. It makes them straighter than they are normally.

Review: Essence Maximum Length volume mascara

Hello beauty lovers!

It is time for another review and today on the spot light we have Essence Maximum Length volume mascara. Eyes are the part of human body that we look at most of the day. Eyes reflect our emotions and feelings and in certain ways they help us to communicate. Even on the laziest days when makeup seems like a stranger for me I don’t forget my eyes. Is the Essence Maximum Length volume mascara worth to be trusted with our precious?

I won’t lie, at first I hated this product with passion. It seemed like it does not do anything at all but one day I didn’t do my eyeliner and I noticed that actually this mascara is quite good. I mean it really gave an impressive length to my lashes and it’s no magic at all. It’s just fibers. These little thingies aren’t anything new in mascara department. The fibers that I am talking about are tiny strings of silk, nylon or rayon. Shortly about each of them:

Silk is one of the strongest natural fibers and it has a smooth, soft texture that is not slippery, unlike many synthetic fibers. Although, as the process of harvesting the silk from the cocoon kills the larvae, sericulture has been criticized by animal welfare and rights activists.

Nylon is one of the most commonly used synthetic polymers. It is highly resilient has a good specific strength.

Rayon is a manufactured regenerated cellulose fiber. Rayon is a versatile fiber and has the same comfort properties as natural fibers. The durability and appearance retention of regular viscose rayon are low, especially when wet; also, rayon has the lowest elastic recovery of any fiber.

Because there is no information on the packaging I have to guess that Essence use nylon (because it’s the cheapest) . After all this talk about fibers you might think that this is a miracle and you will buy only this type of mascara till the end of your life but I have to warn you that those little pieces of magic tend to flake and fall into your eyes. This happened to me more than once and I can say that it’s much more painful than ordinary bit of mascara in your eye and it is harder to get it out.

All in all, it is quite a good product especially for the price but I won’t repurchase it again. The next mascara that I have my eye on is Maybelline the rocket.

Review: NONIQUE lip balm

I am done with my exams and I am very happy to be able to write here again. During this brake I did some thinking and understood that I have to spice up my blog. Since, I am a chemist, I love science and for me it is as interesting as beauty and fashion, I’ve decided to introduce you to both of my joys. So from now on I will try to tell you why certain ingredients are good for certain beauty products, search for interesting facts and statistics. I hope you’ll find this appealing. Let’s start!

I believe, you all know how sometimes you mysteriously lose your lip balm then purchase another and somehow the old one finds the way back to you and now you have more than one lip balm in your collection because of this phenomenon and I am not an exception. Today I am going to talk about the last member of my lip product family NONIQUE lip balm.

NONIQUE  is German company that specializes on natural beauty products and this is one of the reasons why I chose their product. The other one was that I was bored from usual NIVEA or BODY SHOP lip balms and I was curious what else it is out there.

The first impression was quite good. It is a really nice lip product although at first I didn’t like the smell of it. It is pina colada scented product and it really smells like it but I didn’t find it flattering at all.
The good news is that the smell is not strong at all so after less than a day I stopped noticing it.
What is more, this product has some kind of exfoliating particles and this is very pleasant ability.

I don’t have the original packaging any more so the only ingredient of this product that I am sure about is coconut and coconuts are used in the beauty industry in moisturisers, balms and body butters because coconut oil, due to its chemical structure, is readily absorbed by the skin. And those particles that I mentioned previously may also be a part of coconut because the coconut shell may be ground down and added to products for exfoliation of dead skin. Of course, there’s fair chance that it is not grounded coconut shell but sugar which is widely used in cosmetics for this purpose.

Finally, some facts about lip balm:
1. Sounds crazy, but ChapStick and most other lip balms don’t work by adding moisture; instead they seal your lips to protect it from losing its own moisture.
2. You'll likely use it up before it does, but ChapStick only lasts for two to three years. If you find an old tube and wonder if it's safe to use, be sure it doesn’t look or smell funny. 
3.Lip balm with sun screen protection prevents our lips from aging because of UV and in this way helps them to stay beautiful and plump.

All in all, I like this lip balm but it is nothing different from any other lip product out there. So it won’t hurt to try something new. I hope you liked my new style and I would love to hear some comments about it. Should I continue giving you some facts and doing the research? Let me know.

Week in pictures No.4

Hello sweeties!

How are you doing? I hope fine. Write now I just finished writing my exam and it went well. The evaluation will tell everything how I truly did but this post is not about that. It’s about my week in pictures. Actually, I don’t have much to show you because of all the hard work and preparations for the same exam. I’m sure you’ll understand.

There were some pleasant moments despite the whole boring atmosphere that covered my whole week.  On Monday I had a wonderful surprise of my boyfriend. I got a bouquet of roses. This surprise cleared the clouds, that were gathering around my head, for the whole day.

After the NYE the whole week was just plain studying with a short trip with my friends to the mall where I got a little bit crazy about accessories and also randomly grabbed a face mask ant Catrice special edition lip tint.

On the end of the week I was so exhausted that I even wasn’t in the mood to put on my makeup…ok, actually I did  the makeup but not in the usual manner. I discovered that my must have products (the only ones that I found essential for me on that miserable day) are mascara, foundation and eyebrow shadows ,if you can call them this way.

Plans

Hey guys!
Have you missed me? I am asking because I have missed you. Every free moment I am thinking about this blog and what else I can tell you or give you. This time I won't talk about make up or stuff that I bought.Instead I will share with you my problems and plans.
Ok,actually I don't have many problems,if any, just now I have to pass two huge exams and this means that I have to study a lot and the only thing  I would dream about if I would spend more time in bed would be sleep.Therefore, I don't have so much time to write normal blog post with beautiful pictures but I have planed a bunch of stuff: week in pictures, favorites and a gazillion of reviews, so brace yourself. I will do that too because outside of my blog I am planing to pass those exams, get a tattoo and redecorate my room. Lots of work but I can do this.

NYE vlog

Happy New Year for everyone!!!

I hope you had a wonderful evening and stepped into New Year with a great mood.

I should warn you that you can find it boring because we just simply went to the center of the city,took a little walk around the old town and then decided to have a dinner at SOYA Asian food restaurant. We ordered some food and Japanese beer that made me feel like in one of Haruki Murakami's books. Not that I got drunk just I imagined that I am sitting in Japan with my friend and sipping this Japanese drink. At the midnight we vent to our city's cathedral square to see the fireworks that all people brought to fire them on that special second. So that was very beautiful and romantic.

I can truly say that this was one of my best NYE ever. I hope you can say the same thing!
