Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balm Review

Hello sweeties!

Today I am continuing my journey through lip product lands and I’m taking you with me. I recently stopped by the drugstore and bought one item that I was eyeing up for a long time. It’s Catrice lip balm in shade :Don’t  Red it. It’s a nice bright red color and I thought it will be a nice pop out of my dark outfits. When I was at the drugstore I tested it only on my hand so when I came back home and tried it on my lips I thought I made a huge mistake and this color does not suit me at all. Despite this first impression I wore this lip balm a few times more and I fell in love with it.

To begin with, it’s winter time and my lips are getting dry every day and I needed product that wouldn’t make them even worse. The word ‘balm’ in this product’s name really stands for moisturizing ability and not just for hair catching consistency.

What is more, it is ridiculously easy to apply this product, you don’t even need a mirror because of it’s light coverage. Imagine young girls with perfectly colored lips with this crayon fished from their mother’s purse.

All in all, I think this is one of my favorite lip products and it’s one of the candidates to be on my lips on New Year’s eve and to surprise the lucky one that I will kiss.

Empties No.2

Hello my darlings!

Write now I am sitting in my bed and listening to the other tribe- skirts . This was one of my favorite songs of 2012 and I occasionally enjoyed it on 2013 too. It made me think how time passes by and some things evaporates quickly and others resist to leaves us and stay together for indeterminate time. There is no way how to guess who attribute what because such simple thing as song stayed with me for a few years in contrary to my school life that vanished in one summer. This is deep but it’s my introduction to Empties because I thought that it is nice to honor those who left us in a glimpse in the threshold of New Year, even if it’s only empty cosmetic products.

First on my target is AVON violet & lychee body spray. I had a difficult relationship with this product. At first I really didn’t like the smell of it and I even forgot that I had it but after a few weeks I discovered it in a new light. The sent seemed quite nice and suitable and using before bed became my ritual. All in all,I wouldn’t buy this again but it’s not a bad product, I simply don’t think that I can find a better body spray than Body Shop one in vanilla sent.

Second is Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream in medium shade for normal skin. What can I say? Loved it! I used it during the summer and sometimes on fall when I had a mood for BB cream and it really did its’ job. It is really important for me to protect my face skin from sun because it’s quite sensitive to UV and my birth marks tend to get darker and this is something I don’t like. So sun protection was my priority and I was satisfied. What is more, it is very light what is nice on hot summer days.

Next is Essence 2 in 1 volume mascara. This mascara has two brushes but I only used one (the bigger one) and the effect of it pleased me. It gave me length, volume and hope that I don’t need false lashes to be a drama queen.

I finished another Essence product. It’s Essence Stay Natural concealer in the lightest shade. This concealer is one of those Essence products that stands out and makes to fascinate their company.
It presents a really good quality for a ridiculously small price in comparison with other brands.
I used it all around my eyes  also as an eye shadow base and I can't complain about it in contrary I can only say that it is not cakey at all, look really natural and helps eye shadow to stay in place of whole day.

The last product is Rituals white lotus & green tea foaming shower gel. This product is irreplaceable in my shower and only because of one quality- foaming. It’s the most pleasant thing of all times and everyone should try it. Of course, a cherry on top of the cake is its’ smell, a signature of Rituals company.

Week in pictures No.3

Hello everyone!

It's time for my week in pictures!I think that my week was quite similar to yours' because Christmas shopping was everyone's duty (or if you prefer pleasure).Although, I think that not everyone had to make their way to the shops through mountains of snow.

And of course, on the only day when the weather was like this and it was freezing I had to wear my Uggs and lose one of them sole on the way to the mall. How I could forget Christmas tree?I was decorating it with my little brother. It's a fake tree but our family decided that there isno point to cut a real one for our short pleasure.

On cold winter's days I sometimes forget that I don't like coffee and spoil myself with hot caramel mochiata.

To finish everything I left a picture of my boyfriend's cat sleeping in his sport bag. Loveliest creature!

1) Why did you start this blog?

I started this blog because I needed some activity to express myself  and I always admired blog community and wanted to become part of it.

2) What do you get from blogging?
First of all,I learn to be more confident because it sometimes requires some courage to share your thoughts and ideas with strangers. Also, it's always nice to get some response to what you do even if it's only a visit to my blog. And finally,I get more and more skills working with a computer.

3) Your everyday hair routine.
To begin with,I wash my hear with Garnier Ultra Doux revitalizing shampoo then I brush them and spray on Oriflame HairX spray on conditioner and blow dry them while brushing. In this way,they straightens up a little bit and that's it.

4) Your favorite makeup product.
Because I couldn't live without mascara this product should be something for my lashes.
My all time favorite mascara is Mabelyne The Rocket volume express. I can't imagine a better product to add some drama to your eyes.

5) 5 movies you love
This one is hard because there are so many movies worth mentioning.I will probably begin from the recent ones.

Winter's haul

Hello everyone!
I've been doing some Christmas shopping last week and of course I couldn't forget my self so I bought quite a few goodies for my own pleasure.

I will begin with beauty items. I missed some colors in my life because it's winter so the nature is not the source of that nor my black,white and pastel clothing.That's why I decided to purchase some colorful nail polishes(Essence Gold fever and Mabelyne Colorama) and Catrice lip balm (looks like lip crayon) in shade Don't Red it.Weird shade name...So far I've been love these products.

Also I did some damage on H&M. I went crazy for necklaces and sweaters.Check this out.

As you can see I was really in need of just simple sweaters and some necklaces. My last stop was shoe shop and I got something between combat boots and wedgies and i simply love them. They gave that edgier statement to any outfit.

Rituals Mei Dao body cream review

"When your routine becomes a ritual..."Indeed, Rituals brand knows how to create that feeling and bring something special in our daily life. That's why today I am going to talk about their
Mei Dao body cream.
I had more than one product of this Tao line but this one is just special for me. Firstly, it nourishes your skin and leaves it feeling silky soft.Secondly, it has wonderful smell.
I'm such a sucker for scented things but again this one is special. I found that many body creams have a good smell but it stays on you only for a while, while this Mei Dao cream smell lasts for all day. It even stays longer than my perfume because on the days that I had it on me,I had compliments that I smelled very pleasant even in the evening and it wasn't my perfume.
You can feel the tension flowing away while using this product and I believe that  nowadays this quality is very important taking in consideration our busy life.
